Yet another Fire incident – 5 vehicles set on fire in Pune’s Ganj Peth

Pune: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – The number of vehicles parked on the roads of Pune is not safe these days as the number of vehicle fire incidents are increasing day by day. On the same background another incident of vehicle fire has taken place in Pune’s Ganj Peth area. From the early information, it is said that the goons have targeted the two-wheeled vehicles.

Someone set the bikes parked near the Canal on fire. Five vehicles have turned into ashes after the incident.  were burnt to the ground. Fortunately, the fire trucks reached the spot within 2 to 3 minutes otherwise the fire might have got spread across the area and some small shops might have caught fire.

There were some bikes parked near Canal at Lahuji Vastad Talim of Ganj Peth. At about three o’clock in the morning, all five vehicles were set on fire at the same time. The news reaches the fire brigade office within 5 minutes and the fire trucks rushed to the spot. By the time the fire trucks reached the spot the bikes were half burnt, firefighters quickly showered water o the bikes and the fire was under control. Just behind the bikes, there were small roadside shops of wooden of that would have caught fire it would have been even more dangerous.

As at a time all 5 vehicles caught fire so the police are doubting that this didn’t happen by an accident but this was purposely done.

This is not the first incident of vehicle damage in Pune city, these types of incidents take place to create panic and scare people. These types of incident troubles the common man. In such cases that have happened in the city, it has been found in police investigations that minor children, as well as young people of the age group of 18 to 25 years, are involved.
