Who will be the next Pune district collector? State Administrative Reshuffle Expected Today, Few Names Are In The List!

Pune: It is expected that Maharashtra state government may announce major administrative reshuffle in the state today. In which, strong speculation running on the name of new Pune district collector, as soon Pune district collector Naval Kishore Ram received transfer order to join the Prime Minister Office (PMO) in Delhi, political and administrative circles are abuzz with three to four names who would probably be appointed as the next collector of Pune district.

Dr. Yogesh Mhase, working as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MHADA in Mumbai may be transferred to Pune with new responsibility, Mhase belongs to Ahmednagar district, earlier he worked as the sub-divisional officer of Sangli district when R R Patil was deputy CM of the state. In 2005 Mhase got the opportunity to work as a special duty officer of R R Patil. Mhase who worked closely during NCP tenure in the state may be the next choice for Pune district collector, as he is also a trusted man of Ajit Pawar.

G Shreekant, presently the district collector of Latur is a young and dynamic known face for his good performance in Latur district. He earlier served in Akola district of Vidarbha.

Shravan Hardikar, presently working as commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation may be the next choice for the Pune district collector post. He earlier served in Nagpur Municipal Corporation. He has handled the Covid-19 outbreak very well in the PCMC area is a front runner for the post of Pune district collector.

Suhas Divase, Commissioner of Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA). He played a vital role in reducing coronavirus cases in the Pune district, as he is monitoring cases by coordinating with NGOs and by public participation.
