Who Will Be Pune’s Additional District Collector? Ajit Pawar Vs Dilip Walse-Patil Trusted Man

Pune: From the last two months the post of Additional district collector have been lying vacant at the district collectorate office. There has been several names doing rounds for the post, some names are in favour of Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar while others are in favour of NCP leader and cabinet minister Dilip Walse-Patil.

According to sources, Vijaysinh Deshmukh who is very close to Ajit Pawar can be appointed as a addl collector, while Ajinkaya Palval who is from Ambegaon, which is also a constituency of Dilip Walse-Patil can also be appointed as a addl dist collector.

Last week, Dr. Rajesh Deahmukh has been appointed as Pune’s district collector. There has been several cases and administrative related works pending in the absence of addl collector post.

Meanwhile, several other names are into consideration for the post, which includes SIDCO Thane, Addl. Commissioner Ajinkaya Palval, Vijaysinh Deshmukh who is currently working in the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Rajendra Mutha, Pune SRO Suresh Jadhav.
