Vaccination drive launched in Pimpri-Chinchwad; Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash gets first jab

Pimpri-Chinchwad: Vaccination drive against COVID-19 was rolled out for police personnel on Tuesday (February 9). First vaccine was administered to Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash.

After that Additional Commissioner of Police Ramanath Pokale was also administered the vaccine. Public Relations Officer Vitthal Kubde said that all the police personnel working in 15 police stations, crime branch, transport branch and other departments of the Commissionerate will be vaccinated as per the plan.

Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate currently has more than three thousand police personnel. Jumbo vaccination center has been set up at the Commissionerate building at Chinchwad. Vaccination of all police personnel will continue for the next two to three days.
