Two Serious Incidents of Machete Threatening and Stone-Pelting Reported in Pune On Same Day

Pune: Over the anger of not giving money for drinking alcohol, one man threatened the accused with a machete and ran away by taking Rs two thousand from the drawer of the shop. This incident took place at Saraswati Enterprises in Vishrantwadi on Wednesday, March 13, at around 9 p.m.

In this regard, Ramniwas Shivaramji Devasi, a resident of Kalas, Vishrantwadi, has filed a complaint at Vishrantwadi Police Station. Accordingly, police booked the accused, Aditya Lokhande, a resident of Vishrantwadi, Pune, under IPC 392, 504, 506 Arms Act, and the Maharashtra Police Act.

According to the police, the accused had come to the complainant’s shop on Wednesday and asked him for some money to drink alcohol. However, when the plaintiff refused to pay, the accused abused the plaintiff and brandished a nearby machete at him.

He also threatened to kill the accused and ran away by forcibly taking two thousand rupees from the store. Based on the complaint given by Devasi, the police registered a case and arrested the accused. Further investigation is being conducted by Police Sub-Inspector Rathod of Vishrantwadi Police Station.

Rikshaw Vandalised by Stone Pelting:

Another disturbing act of vandalising a rikshaw by pelting stones at it has taken place in Mhasoba Chowk, Pune. On Wednesday, at 2.30 p.m., Bhima Tukaram Bhise was travelling with her grandson from Rikshaw. At that time, four children known to her grandson pelted stones at Rikshaw and broke glasses of it. Fortunately, Bhima Bhise and her grandson did not receive any major injuries in it.

After a complaint was filed by Bhise in this case, Mundhwa Police immediately apprehended Gaurav Galphade and his four accomplices under IPC 141, 143, 147, 149, 427, and the Maharashtra Police Act. The police are conducting further investigations.
