Three Accused Doctors arrested in Payal Tadvi Suicide case

Npnews24 online, Mumbai: The three doctors who were involved in abetting the post-graduate medical student Tadvi, who belong to Scheduled tribe community and end her life on May 22 Mumbai police arrested three of the accused in the case named- Ankita Khandelwal, Bhakti Mehre and Hema Ahuja.

Three of the senior doctors have been booked under atrocity act, ragging act, and IT act. Meanwhile, National commission has taken a suo moto cognizance of the matter and written to the hospital administration, requesting to take action day earlier before arresting them.

Salman Tadvi alleges that the three doctors ragged and humiliated his wife on WhatsApp because she belonged to a Scheduled Tribe.
