This Diwali kids will be more secure…

PUNE : NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – India is culturally diversified country and also known for its celebration various festivals throughout the year. Now, India’s biggest festival is just few days away which is celebrated by all over the nation with full zeal and enthusiasm. But along with the enthusiasm the ‘Safety of the person’ should be above all.

As there are more possibilities of accident in festivals like Diwali. Therefore, the court has given the permission to use firecrackers only in between 8 to 10pm. This decision has been taken mainly for the safety of the Childs and avoid accidents. Sometimes the injury get through such accidents affects their whole life. Even sometime it took their life also. So, for the safety of the Childs Pune’s  ‘Safe Kids Foundation India’ come forward.

Safe Kids Foundation India has organized fire protection program regarding the use of firecrackers. This program is of 10 days. During this awareness campaign, fire protection practices will be highlighted in the ‘Safe Kids at Home Program’, which is sponsored by the Honeywell. Safe Kids Foundation India is one of the leading Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). This NGO is mainly focuses and working for children’s safety.

This NGO will also going to organise various kinds of awareness making  programs like Rallies, Road shows, Exhibitions, Walkathon, Kids Carnival, Poster making competition for the people from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pimpri- Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) area. Students, teachers and volunteers will be worked as ‘Fire Marshals’ for helping the people in fire incidences. Total 621 people have been trained through the program of Safe kids at home till now. Along with this, this NGO succeeds in  making of 300  model fire safe schools and 100 model fire safe communities.

At this time, the director of Safe kids foundation program Dr. Cynthia Pinto said, “Diwali is a festival in which possibilities of happening accidents is high and fire catching. So, it is very important to make awareness in parents as well as in kids for safety point of view.”
