Thane: 17-year-old dies by suicide in Dombivli

Thane :  A 17-year-old died by suicide on Thursday (February 18) in Yash Enclave building in Dombivli area, the police said on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Soham Marathe. An unnatural death has been registered at Vishnunagar police station in this regard.

According to Koli, Assistant police inspector of Vishnu Nagar Police station, the incident took place on Thursday at 12.30 pm, while no suicide note was recovered. “We had sent the body to Rukminibai Hospital for autopsy”, he added.

The incident took place in the Yash Enclave building near the Khandoba temple at Kumbharkhan Pada, west of Dombivli. Police are further investigating the case.

In another incident, a 52-year-old man died by suicide near Umbarmali railway station near Kasara. The deceased has been identified as Mulchand Devji Gausar (52), a resident of Vishnunagar in Dombivali.
