#SwacchBharatFraud: Congress and youth claim it Modi’s unsuccessful dream

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a cleanliness drive started by Modi on October 02, 2018, four years back from is raising a question mark on the upcoming elections of 2019.

Inspired by Modi’s words and the campaigns led by Modi across the nation, the citizens started living the dream too and took initiatives to keep the country clean.

It’s been four years the drive has been initiated by Modi Government and yet, a great portion of the general public of India believe that the success of Swachh Bharat was not that successful in curbing the waste completely from the streets of India.

In Pune, lot many volunteers came forward to clean the streets of Pune. Not only in Pune, but youth and others started working towards green and clean India.

Adil Khan, a Management student said in this regard, “Modi’s cleanliness drive was a failure, because we cannot see enough toilets built across the country yet. Commoners are facing trouble in disposing the wastes and are still throwing it on the streets.”

Ishita Misra, a software engineer said, “There is no change in the cleanliness conditions of society as still youngsters are throwing wastes not in the bin but on the streets. There are not enough public toilets yet. Though government ha sanitated Ganga Reservation plans, etc, the government has been unable to fulfil the expectations of the commoners.”

She added, “The first two years after the start of the campaign, everything was with full enthusiasm, later on scenario became the same and all the zeal was gone.”

Taking advantage of the fact that BJP government couldn’t , Congress has been repeatedly targeting BJP by tweeting #SwachhBHaratFraud and claiming the campaign to be one of the biggest scams of Modi government.

It might be a strategy of Congress for the upcoming 2019 elections, to hold up the negatives of Modi government in front of people.
