The organisation’s president Janardhan Paygude has threatened to organise protests if the administration does not come out with solutions for the traffic related issues in the area. People have to waste hours in traffic jams during peak hours, he said.

As per the petition, there is heavy traffic jam on roads to IT Park phase 1,2 and 3 from Shivaji Chowk. There is heavy rush of vehicles in Hinjawadi village, therefore vehicles coming from Bhumkar chowk should be diverted towards Laxmi chowk. Many vendors have stalls at Shivaji chowk and Ganpati Temple, they can be shifted to the open space near petrol pump. It will reduce congestion at the Shivaji chowk. The road leading to Mhatoba temple should be kept open for people.
