Rs 521 crore funds allotted for Pune district this year: Chandrakant Patil 

Np News 24 Pune : Under the District Annual Plan, a hostel will be constructed at a cost of Rs five crore for the children of police officials coming to Pune from across the State, informed District Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil.
He also informed that funds will be made available for spraying of herbal medicines and disinfectants in the places of litter in the city.  He also added that for the washing the clothes and bed bedsheets patients in washing machines, fund of Rs 1 crore 30 lakh will be given to hospitals.
A review meeting of the District Planning Committee was held at the Divisional Commissioner’s Office under the Chairmanship of Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil.
Patil said that Rs 521 crore funds have been allotted in the district for the financial year 2019-2020 during a press conference held after the meeting. Out of that, Rs 316 crore fund has been made available and Rs 172 crore fund has been already distributed.
He also said that a grant of Rs 102 crore 80 lakh was received under the Scheduled Caste Scheme and Rs 71 crore 34 lakh will also be distributed. Rs 31 crore 79 lakh have been allotted under the Tribal Scheme. Of this, fund of Rs 10 crore 36 lakh has been distributed.
Minister of State for Labour Sanjay Bhegde, Zilla Parishad President Viishwasrao Devkate, Mayor Mukta Tilak, MP Girish Bapat, Amar Sable, former state minister Dilip Kamble, MLA Dilip Walse Patil, District Collector Naval Kishore Ram, Sandeep Patil and others were present during the press conference.
