Ravindra Dhangekar’s woes to increase as BJP decides to lodge complaint with Election Commission

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Kasba Peth Bypoll Election | The political happenings continue in Kasba Peth constituency even after the campaign ended on Friday at 5 pm. Less than 24 hours remain for the polling to begin in Kasba Peth. MVA candidate Ravindra Dhangekar has alleged that BJP had distributed money to voters in Kasba Peth. Dhangekar did not stop after making allegations but went on a fast opposite the Kasba Ganpati temple. When he was assured that action will be taken against the concerned people, he withdrew his fast. BJP Minister Rajesh Pande said that the BJP is going to complain to the Election Commission and demand cancellation of his candidature. “MVA candidate Ravindra Dhangekar knows he is going to lose the election. His fast was a stunt. Earlier also, he has resorted to such stunts. The voters of Kasba Peth are aware of this. There was no response to Dhangekar’s rally. The voters of Kasba Peth have been hurt by Dhangekar’s stunts,” he added.

 

“The poll campaign ended on Friday at 5 pm. Isn’t Dhangekar’s fast a part of the campaign?” he added.
