Punit Balan Group | Punit Balan Group donates food van to Shri Sadguru Shankar Maharaj Samadhi Trust

Pune : NpNews24 Online -Punit Balan | The Shri Sadguru Shankar Maharaj Samadhi Trust distributes ‘Khichadi Prasad’ (food) among the needy students of the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) daily. The Punit Balan Group has donated a food van to the trust for making the food distribution easier.

The Shri Sadguru Shankar Maharaj Samadhi Trust has been distributing food for free for many years now. Around 1,500 students benefit under this initiative daily. The trust was finding it difficult to transport and distribute the food due to non-availability of a van. Young entrepreneur Punit Balan realised this need and decided to make available the van immediately. Entrepreneur Janhavi Dhariwal Balan handed over the keys of the van to the trust management on the occasion of Durgashtami on Thursday. Young entrepreneur Punit Balan, BJP state Vice-President Rajesh Pande, Trust President Surendra Waikar, Satish Kokate, Pratap Bhosale and others were present.

“The Shri Sadguru Shankar Maharaj Samadhi Trust is carrying out this laudable initiative of distributing Prasad. I thank the trust for giving me an opportunity to render my services to the trust,” said Punit Balan, President, Punit Balan Group.
