Pune: Vasant More’s FB post worries supporters

Pune: City MNS leader and former corporator Vasant More shared a post on his Facebook wall in the middle of the night on Monday. It has attracted many netizens, including his supporters.

It is now well known that More is an aspirant for the Lok Sabha polls from the city. His rivals in the party are bent on spoiling his chances. The post has made his supporters anxious. However, such developments energise More’s political opponents.

In his post, More has stated: “One becomes very calm after bearing a lot of torment… then one neither complains to anyone nor expects anything from anyone”.

This Facebook post was shared at 11.56 pm on Monday. Therefore, his followers are worried what could be ailing More so late in the night. The post invited over 300 comments and was re-shared many times on social media. However, it was not known what was troubling Vasant More.

Earlier, when Amit Thackeray led a morcha to the Savitribai Phule University, Amit could not see Vasant More around. So, he thought More had kept away from the march, though More was participating in it. Later, Vasant More had to furnish proof of his presence in the morcha. Explaining his stance, More had said, “Amit saheb, I am always there for you. Please, try to understand. Saheb, I believe in working and not just showing off.”
