Pune: Six injured after clashes break out between two groups

Saswad: Six people were seriously injured after clashes broke out between two groups over an argument in the famous Netaji Chowk. A total of 16 accused from both the groups filed a complaint against each other. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment and search for the accused is underway.

A case of attempt to murder has been registered. The incident took place in the premises of Karaha Swad Hotel near Saswad Court. Swapnil Deepak Takle (23, resident of Netaji Chowk, Saswad, Tal. Purander) filed a complaint from one group. According to him, Yogesh Takle, Gaurav Mhetre and Kiran are injured. The suspects have been identified as Vinay Sudhir Jamdade, Gaurav Pandurang Dhotre, Dhananjay Munna Bhongale, Malhar Rajendra Salunkhe, Paresh Salil Bagwan, Akshay Bholenath Nighol, Abhishek Pramod Gondhale, Kunal Talekar, Swapnil Dattatraya Dhagare (all resident Saswad).

Manoj Pandurang Mhetre (age 26, resident of Saswad, Tal. Purandar) filed a complaint from the second group. According to him, Gaurav Pandurang Mhetre, Vinay Jamdade and Dhananjay Bhongale of his group have been seriously injured. The accused who attacked him have been identified as Sonya Jadhav, Yogesh Takle, Shubham Balasaheb Takle, Swapnil Deepak Takle, Praveen Madhukar Bhosale, Kiran Rajendra Dixit, Sanket Deepak Takle (all resident Netaji Chowk Saswad).

After both the incidents, Saswad police are monitoring the movement in the area. Assistant Inspector of Police Rahul Ghuge and Lady Sub-Inspector of Police S. D. Durande are investigating the case.
