Pune: She thanks him for help, he kisses her, she files FIR

NPnews24 Online Pune: A 21-year-old woman got a rude shock when a stranger kissed her near MG Road, Camp, after she thanked him for help. The shocked woman later filed an FIR against him with Lashkar police station, Pune city police.

According to police, the woman is studying third year engineering in a city-based college. Around noon on Tuesday, she had gone to Camp area for some work. She was standing near Aurora Towers and searching for a place but her phone had got switched off, so she could talk to her friend. She requested the man if she could make a phone call. He gave the phone and she called her friend to ask about directions to the place. While returning the phone, she thanked him and put forward her hand for a handshake. The man pulled her and kissed her.

The traumatised woman ran away from there and registered a complaint with police. Police sub-inspector Varsha Gurav, who is investigating the case, said, “We have registered FIR in the case and the investigation is going on. We will arrest him soon.”
