Pune: PSI Anil Shinde dies on duty on suffering a heart attack

Pune: Police Sub Inspector Anil Shinde (57) attached to the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station suffered a heart stroke and passed away while he was serving his duty.

Under the jurisdiction of Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station, Shinde was appointed on duty at the Dattanagar Police Chowki. He was on night duty and started feeling restless at around 1.30 am, after which he succumbed to the attack.

The senior officials rushed to the chowki on learning about the incident.

Shinde would stay in the Khadak Police line and is now survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter. He was known to be a very open minded nature and always alert and dedicated when it came to work.
