Pune Police News | Hadapsar Sr.PI Ravindra Shelke appealed home owners to submit tenant information or face legal action

Pune: Pune Police News | It is mandatory for the landlord in Pune to submit the tenancy agreement at the police station while renting the house. However, many landlords have the information to the police station despite keeping tenants. Taking the matter seriously the Hadapsar police senior police inspector appealed to all the owners to submit the details of the tenant along with the tenancy agreement or face legal action.

Shelke said action will be initiated against the house owner if there is any evasion. Recently, two terrorists have been detained by the police in Kondhwa. In this background, the issue of keeping the tenant’s information has come up again.

It has been observed that many tenants do not enter into a tenancy agreement even when it is mandatory. If it is done, it is not deposited in the police station. So it has been seen that many criminals take refuge in such places and it is creating a threat to the security of the country along with the social security.

The Hadapsar police have come up with the leaflet with all the information about the tenancy agreement and also about the importance of submitting it to the police station. The leaflet has been circulated by the police on all social media platforms.

Ravindra Shelke, Sr.PI, Hadapsar police station said, ” Even though there is a law regarding tenants, many landlords are ignoring it. Due to not keeping proper information about the tenant, there is social unrest. Many crimes are happening due to it. Therefore, every tenant should complete all the necessary documents along with the relevant tenant’s character certificate. Also get as much information as possible and submit it to the police in time because this matter is important for everyone’s safety.
