Pune News | No Need to Visit Talathi Office; State Government Introduces e-Haqq System

Pune : Pune News | Gone are the days when visiting the Talathi office was necessary for essential tasks such as updating heir information on Satbara Utara, removing the name of a deceased person, or dealing with the burden of bank loans. The state government has now introduced the e-Haqq system, enabling citizens to file applications for registration without physically going to the Talathi office. More than two crore online transactions have already been recorded through this system, with approximately 26.5 lakh entries successfully made based on the registered applications.

With the e-Haqq system, applicants can submit their applications online at any time, and Talathis can access and process the applications whenever convenient. This means there is no need to visit the Talathi office to register an heir or remove a deceased person’s name. By visiting the website (https://pdeigr.maharashtra.gov.in) and selecting the respective district, taluka, and village, applicants can fill in the necessary details for the application. Once submitted, the application will directly appear in the Talathi’s login, allowing them to review and approve the changes. Officials from the Land Records Department have confirmed the feasibility of this process.

Applicants will receive an SMS notification confirming the acceptance of their application and providing a modification number for reference. In case of any errors in the application, applicants will also receive SMS notifications informing them of the required corrections. This website not only serves as an application platform but also keeps applicants informed about the progress of their application through SMS notifications sent to their registered mobile numbers.

The e-Haqq system is a transparent and user-friendly medium introduced by the state government. Sarita Narake, Additional Collector of the Land Records Department, has urged all citizens who require corrections in their Satbara to utilize the online application process. Applying online through the e-Haqq system not only simplifies the application process but also provides applicants with real-time updates on the status of their applications via SMS notifications. Embracing this digital platform will streamline administrative procedures and enhance efficiency for citizens seeking Satbara corrections.
