Pune News | Insult of Tricolour in Pune: Police begin probe; Incident took place during Pre-Independence Day programme

However, during a Pre-Independence Day programme organised in Pune, the Tricolour was insulted. The incident took place at Freak Super Club in Koregaon Park. A complaint has been lodged at the Mundhwa police station and the police are carrying out a probe. The Mundhwa police said that the process of registering an FIR against the accused is underway.

During a musical concert in the programme, a singer threw the national flag in the audience and insulted the Tricolor. A complaint has been lodged at the Mundhwa police station by Ad Ashutosh Bhosle.
As per the complaint lodged by Ad Ashutosh Bhosle, a musical band “Shanti People’ had organised a musical concert. When Uma Shanti was presenting her song, she held the Tricolour in her hand. During her performance, she threw the Tricolour into the audience. The video of this incident has gone viral. The police are carrying out a probe based on Bhosle’s complaint. The Mundhwa police said that the process of registering an FIR against the accused is underway.
