Pune News | General Manager Conducts Inspection of Pune Station and Yard Remodeling Work
Pune: Pune News | General Manager, Central Railway Naresh Lalwani conducted inspection of Pune yard remodeling work on Saturday 22 July. He was accompanied by Divisional Railway Manager Indu Dubey, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Shri Brijesh Kumar Singh, Chief project Manager/Gati Shakti Unit Shri Prakash Upadhyay and other officers of Pune division.
During the inspection, Lalwani looked into passenger amenities provided at the Pune station. Further, He looked into Yard remodeling plan of pune yard. Moreover, he inspected pune yard remodeling work at both sides of the station including yard near Wadia bridge, Alankar Bridge, etc. He further inspected the electric tripshed and plan for 3rd and 4th line between Pune Lonavala section.
General Manager also conducted one-on-one meetings with all branch officers to discuss the initiatives taken by them for betterment of the Railway operations and issues faced by them. Moreover, he gave detailed instructions regarding safe train operations and quality of inspection by officers. Further, he stressed upon safe train operations and directed officers to visit field frequently. Further, he advised Officers to monitor quality and quantity of inspections by their sub-ordinates.
