Pune News | Flyovers worth ₹50,000 crore will be built in Pune to prevent traffic jams, says Union Minister Nitin Gadkari

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune News | Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the Department of Road Transport and Highways will build flyovers worth ₹50,000 crore to free the city from traffic jams and Pune-Bengaluru and Pune-Sambhaji Nagar road projects will be completed as early as possible. He was speaking during the dedication ceremony of the integrated infrastructure project at NDA Chowk (Chandni Chowk) and the Khed-Manchar four-lane project. Deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar, District Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil and Deputy Chairperson of Legislative Council Dr Neelam Gorhe were present. (Pune News)

“In the coming times, Pune will become the centre of growth in the country. Pune is going to provide jobs to many people. Pune is the fastest growing city in India. Hence, Pune needs a 24×7 water supply facility and excellent roads. The Central government will make all efforts to extend help for Pune’s development and soon, discussions will be held with the CM about projects in Pune,” he said.

The project reports of the double decker flyover on Pune-Satara highway, Hadapsar-Yavat elevated road, Pune-Shirur-Ahmednagar 56 km road, Talegaon-Shikrapur-Chakan 54 km route and Nashik Phata to Khed road are ready.

In the Pune division, projects worth ₹1.75 lakh crore have been sanctioned and some of them have been completed. The ₹12,000 crore Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palanquin Route projects would be completed by December, he said.
