Pune: Mobile public toilet disappears from Nigdi

Pune: A mobile public toilet was reportedly stolen from the Nigdi area of Pimpri-Chinchwad. According to the police, the structure was reportedly stolen on the intervening night of December 3 and 4 from Spine road in Nigdi.

Mahesh Nanasaheb Avadh (42), a resident of Anand Nagar in Old Sangvi has registered a complaint at Nigdi Police station in this regard. The stolen structure cost is estimated to be around Rs 95,000.

According to the complaint, the mobile public toilet was installed on a trolley vehicle registered at Pimpri-Chinchwad regional transport office.

Senior Inspector Ganesh Javadwad of Nigdi Police station said that the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s (PCMC) health department has lodged a complaint in the matter as they had installed the toilet. A case under section 379 of IPC has been registered at the police station.
