Youth visiting village fair at Kunjirwadi beaten up by goons; Yogesh Londhe, Abhishek Khengre, Shubham Dhumal, Karan Gawde booked

Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | A youth who visited his friend’s place for village fair at Kunjirwadi was badly beaten up and seriously injured by a gang. (Pune Crime)

Ajay Shyam Vishwakarma (21), a resident of Tarde road, Haveli, lodged a complaint at the Loni Kalbhor police station in this regard. The police later booked Yogesh Shantaram Londhe, Abhishek Bapu Khengre, both residents of Kunjirwadi, Shubham Sandip Dhumal, a resident of Theur Phata, Karan Gawde, a resident of Mhatobachi Alandi. The incident took place at 11 pm on March 11 near Malwadi Chowk at Kunjirwadi. Yogesh Londhe is a history-sheeter.

Ajay Vishwakarma was invited for the village fair by his friend Shubham Londhe. He was returning home after having dinner. While he was removing his motorcycle from the parking lot, the accused arrived there. They started abusing and beating up Vishwakarma for no apparent reason. Shubham Londhe and Amar Chowdhary tried to intervene; however, Yogesh Londhe started beating the complainant and Shubham Londhe with a wooden staff. Khengre hit Chowdhary with a stone, which hurt his head. Others also thrashed them.
