Pune Crime | Notorious criminal arrested in house break-in cases; goods worth Rs 5 lakh seized

Pune : NpNews24 OnlinePune Crime | A team of unit six of the crime branch arrested a notorious criminal for committing burglaries in Pune and nearby areas. After investigation, the police came to know that Mohan Devidas Bansode had committed these crimes with the help of his aunt. Goods worth Rs 4 lakh 96 thousand and 85 rupees have been seized from him and seven crimes have been exposed. (Pune Crime)

 

When a team of unit six of the crime branch was investigating a burglary case registered at Lonikand police station, they came to know that the accused in house break-in cases Mohan Bansode (21), a resident of Patil Estate, Shivajinagar, was going to arrive at Patil Estate, Shivajinagar. They laid a trap at Patil Estate and arrested him. The accused was produced in the court which remanded him in police custody till April 13 and he was grilled by the police. He admitted committing burglaries with the help of his aunt in Pune and nearby areas.

 

He admitted his involvement in seven cases registered at Deccan police station, Sinhagad Road police station and Kondhwa police station. Gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 4 lakh 96 thousand and 85 rupees and cash was seized from him. He admitted during questioning that his aunt died after she received an electric shock a few days ago.

 

The action was taken by a team of police officials including PI Ganesh Mane, API Narendra Patil, policemen Machchindra Walke, Vitthal Khedkar, Ramesh Memane, Sachin Pawar, Rishikesh Takvane and Rishikesh Vyavahare under the guidance of CP Amitabh Gupta, Joint CP Dr Ravindra Shisve, Addl CP Ramnath Pokale, DCP Srinivas Ghadge and ACP Narayan Shirgaonkar.
