Pune Crime News | Wakad police foil plan of criminals to loot IT employees

PIMPRI : Pune Crime News | The Wakad police foiled the plan of a gang of criminals to loot employees of IT companies at night when they were going home. The police arrested four persons including a minor at Rahatani on the road going to Jagtap Dairy Chowk. The police took action on Saturday (July 15) at 2 am.

 

 

The accused have been identified as Vyankatesh Suresh Naik (24), Chetan Kakasaheb Waghmare (23), Shekhar Kaluram Jambure (19), all residents of Kalewadi. The police have apprehended a minor along with them. One of their aides ran away. Policeman Vinayak Gharge has lodged a complaint at the Wakad police station. According to the police, the Wakad police came to know that some people were waiting in a suspicious manner at Rahatani on the road going to Jagtap Dairy Chowk. The police laid a trap and apprehended four persons.

 

 

Meanwhile, one of their accomplices disappeared under the cover of darkness. The police have seized a sword, two sickles, chilli powder, two mobiles and a two-wheeler totally worth ₹20,900.
