Pune Crime News | Rs 10 Lakh extortion threat message affixed to the car of a businessman from Baramati

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime News | In a shocking incident a filmy style extortion has come to light where a businessman from Baramati who came for dinner at Koregaon Park in Pune received a extortion threat of Rs 10 Lakh and the message was affixed to the businessman’s car. The threat message read that if you want to save your and your family life then bring us Rs 10 Lakh at Koregaon Park in Pune. The Koregaon Park police have registered a case. (Pune Crime News)

A 37-year-old businessman from Baramati has filed a complaint at Koregaon Park police station. The incident took place between 8:30 pm on July 31 and 2:30 pm on August 1.

According to the information from Koregaon Park police station, ” The complainant has an import export business. He had come for dinner along with his friends at Desert Water at Koregaon Park. He parked his car in the parking lot and went to eat. When he came back after the dinner he found a closed packet stuck on the door of his car. When he opened it the message in it read ‘bring us Rs 10 lakh at Koregaon Park or you and your family will be killed.When the complainant called the extortionists from his friends mobile number on the number given in the message no one responded to it. The next day when the businessman was at Jejuri he received a threat call on his friend’s mobile that if you want to save your family’s life bring us Rs 10 lakh to Koregaon Park. The Koregaon Park police are further investigating the case.”
