Pune Crime News | Omkar Kudle, who terrorised locals in Kothrud by displaying sword, arrested by Crime Branch officials

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime News | Officials of Pune police Crime Branch have arrested Omkar alias Aba Shankar Kudle, a resident of Sagar Colony, Kothrud and Bavdhan for creating terror in Kothrud police station limits by displaying a sword because he was angry as his photo did not appear on a banner. The officials of the Crime Branch went to a hilly area near Pavana dam and arrested him. The police have also apprehended his accomplice. (Pune Crime News)

Kudle’s accomplice has been identified as Ashok Balkrishna Kalajakar. On Tuesday at 8 pm, the accused Omkar alias Aba Shankar Kudle, was angry as his photo was not used on a banner and started creating terror in the area by displaying a sword. His accomplice helped him. An FIR of atrocity and attempt to murder had been registered against Kudle and his accomplice at the Kothrud police station. Kudle and his accomplice were absconding since then. Officials and police personnel of the Crime Branch were trying to locate Kudle and his accomplice. They had come to know that Kudle was hiding in a hilly area near the Pavana dam.

To apprehend Kudle, DCP Amol Zende, ACP Satish Govekar and other police personnel went to the Pavana dam area and arrested them.

Sr PI Ganesh Mane, API Abhijit Patil, Havaldar Sheetal Shinde, Sanjay Adhari, Kiran Thavre, Vijay Kamble, Prafful Chavan, Rajendra Marne, policemen Ashok Shelar, Amol Wadkar, Vaibhav Ranpise, Manoj Sangle, Shankar Sampte, Sachin Ahivale and Police Mitra Sudhir Sonawane took action under the guidance of DCP Amol Zende and ACP Satish Govekar and instructions issued by CP Ritesh Kumar, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik and DCP Ramnath Pokale.
