Pune Crime News | Heavy rains in city! Tree falls on tempo in Sadashiv Peth
PUNE: Pune Crime News | The city was lashed by severe rains on Friday. A banyan tree fell on a tempo and the vehicle was damaged. Fortunately, there was no loss of life. The incident took place in Sadashiv Peth. Traffic was affected for some time after this incident.
It has been raining heavily since the last three-four days. On Friday, due to heavy rain, the very old banyan tree located near Umai coaching centre, fell on a tempo.
Since there was no one under the tree, there was no loss of life but the temp was damaged. A two-wheeler rider escaped unhurt when the tree fell. Due to heavy rains, the roots of the tree became loose and the tree collapsed. Civic employees are trying to remove the tree from the road.
