Pune Crime News | 6 arrested for abducting and looting Rs 20 lakh from veterinary doctor

Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime News | The Loni Kalbhor police arrested six accused including one woman and one transgender for abducting and looting Rs 20 lakh in cash and gold worth Rs 2 lakh from a veterinary doctor. In this regard, Dr.Pradeep Maruti Jadhav a resident of Bhekrai Nagar in Fursungi has lodged a complaint at Loni Kalbhor police station. (Pune Crime News)

Rahul Dattu Nikam (27) a resident of Indapur in Pune along with his girlfriend Vidya Nitin Khaldkar (35) a resident of Dhagemala at Kurduwadi Road of Barshi in Solapur along with Rahul’s associates Mauli alias Gyandev Mahadev Kshirsagar, Nitin Balu Jadhav, Suhas Sadhu Markad, Santosh Dhondiba Gonjari alias Rani Patil (transgender) have been arrested by the police with great effort. A total of Rs 22.55 lakh including Renault Kwid model car used in the crime, bajaj motorcycle, sport bike, broken mobile of the complainant, six mobile phones used by the accused gold jewellery and Rs 12 lakh cash of the looted amount have been seized from them.

According to Loni Kalbhor police, “The complainant Dr.Pradeep Jadhav is a veterinary doctor and he lives with his second wife in Bhekrai Nagar and the divorce case with his first wife is going on in the court. On Wednesday, 9 August one person called him from an unknown mobile number and told him that the dogs were sick and called him at a secluded place in Wadki and from there a four-wheeler without number plate came and they abducted the doctor and took him in forest area of Waghapur and beat him up. During the beating, the accused told the doctor that your wife and brother-in-law had given a contract to kill you. Dr.Jadhav has two wives and a divorce case is going on with his first wife in court while the doctor lives with his second wife at Bhekrai Nagar in Fursungi.”

The police further added, ” The court has ordered the doctor to pay alimony of Rs 25 lakh to his first wife. To pay this amount, the doctor had arranged and kept the amount at home. Meanwhile, the doctor’s second wife had gone to her home in Barshi. At that place, her sister-in-law Vidya Nitin Khaldkar came to know about the amount kept by the doctor in the house. Vidya is in a relationship with Rahul Nikam from Indapur. Sher gathered her boyfriend Rahul Nikam and his accomplices and hatched a plan to rob the doctor. Three days before the abduction, she showed other accomplices the doctor’s house. Since Vidya is a relative of the doctor, she planned the kidnapping without being directly involved.”

The Loni Kalbhor police have arrested the accused after studying the skillful and technical aspects of the incident as the accused have made a planned conspiracy taking care not to leave any evidence behind.
