Member of Thergaon’s Aniket Chaudhary gang gets bail

Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | Action had been taken against the dreaded Aniket Chaudhary gang which is infamous for ransom and kidnapping in Thergaon under the MCOCA. An FIR had been registered at the Wakad police station. (Pune Crime)

However, accused Ajay Sudhakar Shirsat had submitted a bail application which has been approved by the MCOCA court.

One of the accused has been granted bail by the Bombay High Court. The advocate of the accused, Rakesh Sonar, informed the court that wrong action had been taken against the accused. He gave some examples of some cases of the high court and the Supreme Court.

The special government lawyer brought it to the court’s notice that two sickles had been seized from accused Ajay Shirsat.

Advocate Rakesh Sonar said that the MCOCA action is not applicable to the accused, as per the HC’s observation. Hence, there is no objection to granting bail to him.

The argument of the advocate of the accused was held valid and the special court granted bail to the accused.
