Pune: Chandannagar Police Arrested One Accused For Sexual Molestation Charges in Kharadi

 

Pune: The Chandannagar police apprehended one person for allegedly molesting a 33-year-old woman in Kharadi. This action was taken by the Chandannagar police on the complaint filed by the victim woman on Sunday, January 21.

As per the complaint, the accused, Mohammad Sagir Mohammad Hussain Syed, 40, is a resident of Gurudatta Housing Society, Tukaram Nagar, Kharadi, and has been allegedly chasing the plaintiff for the last four months.

In the latest malfeasance, the accused chased the plaintiff woman from January 18 to January 20, when she was going to school to pick up children after school. She mentioned in the complaint that when she was going to school, the accused secretly kept a watch on her and chased her to the school.

He also gesticulated, looking at her, causing her embarrassment in public, and handed her a note. This incident took place near Zensar Ground, Reliance Chowk, and a school in Kharadi.

The accused mentioned that in the note, the accused had written his mobile number and asked her to call him. He further mistreated her. After that, the police registered a complaint against him under IPC 354d. The police are conducting further investigations.
