Pune: 29-year-old dies in a road accident on flyover in Hadapsar

Pune: A 29-year-old died in a road accident after his two-wheeler was hit by an unidentified vehicle on the railway flyover in Hadapsar area.

The deceased has been identified as Rahul Shatrughan Jagtap (29), a resident of Bhekrainagar, Hadapsar. Jagtap’s brother Yogesh has lodged a complaint at Hadapsar police station.

According to the police, Rahul was riding his two-wheeler on the railway flyover at Fursungi around 10.30 am two days ago. At that time, he was hit by an unidentified vehicle. Rahul was severely injured and died on the spot. Meanwhile, the driver fled the scene after the accident. Further investigation is being conducted by Sub-Inspector R. S. Dhavare.
