Prakash Ambedkar and Asaduddin Owaisi to be seen together for upcoming state elections

Prakash Ambedkar’s Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh (BBM) of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has sealed an alliance for upcoming election striking in 2019.

This alliance becomes at the time when there is uncertainty in an alliance of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena for upcoming elections. Such alliance is formulated with an aim of not to divide the vote banks of Dalits and Muslim community.

Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) are also searching for like-minded electoral allies.

There will be the first meeting of the alliance on Gandhi Jayanti (2nd October), at Jabinda Lawns of Aurangabad.

The grandson of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and leader of BBM- Prakash Ambedkar will lead this alliance. Bahujan alliance has been formed and tied up with the organizations related to various social elements in the state, for the upcoming elections. MIM Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Imtiyaz Jalil confirmed about this.

Earlier, two meetings were held by Ambedkar’s at their residence in Pune between BBM and MIM. The effort will be made to combine the votes of Dalits and Muslims in the state.

Thus they are trying to form new caste equations in the state for the upcoming election. It will try to avoid the division of votes from this alliance.

Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, Legislative Assembly elections along with local elections will fight together, under the leadership of Prakash Ambedkar.

The first exercise of the alliance will be in Ahmednagar Municipal Corporation. On October 2, the first meeting of the coalition will be held between MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi and Prakash Ambedkar.

There are two MLA of MIM in the state and 25 corporators in Aurangabad Municipal Corporation.

MIM is a party to democracy and which always try to save the constitution. That’s why we are ready to make the alliance with them Prakash Ambedkar had already said it. He also added that the text of MIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi and the Bahujan Samaj Party’s late leader Kanshi Ram has many similarities in a political point of view.

After the span of more than three decades, the Dalit and Muslims along with other minorities communities are coming together in a political point of view, because of this alliance. Before this, PRP leader Jogendra Kawade had an alliance with Haji Mastan.
