PMC must prepare weekly status report: Bapat

Npnews24 online, Pune: Pune MP Girish Bapat said the corporation would have to prepare weekly status report of all major project in the city, including 24/7 water supply, metro rail and Mula-Mutha river rejuvenation, because most of them were not on track.

Bapat in one of the press conference, said, “I am not satisfied with the way the major projects in the city are being carried out.”

Bapat backed the financial model chosen for the HCMTR, which might burden citizens with additional taxes. “The state and the Union governments, along with the civic body, are giving their share. Railways and defence would be his key agenda as an MP. Issues pertaining to these would be resolved on priority basis.
