PMC declares 42 ‘micro containment zones’, releases advisory for housing societies

PUNE: Amid a sudden spike in coronavirus cases, new guidelines have been issued in the city by civic administration. The municipal administration has declared 42 areas a ‘micro containment zones’ with highest number of patients.

The municipal administration has released advisory for housing societies in Pune. First and foremost, outside citizens are prohibited from entering societies within the micro prevention zones. Barricades will be set up outside the societies and relatives of the patients will be barred from leaving. A distance of two metres (6 ft) needs to be maintained between people at all times and residents need to be warned about assembling in groups.

SEPARATE GARBAGE DISPOSAL

Garbage collected from these societies within the zones will be disposed of separately. Residents in a house with no infection will be allowed to work.
