Pune: PM Narendra Modi | On the solemn occasion of Lokmanya Tilak’s death anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be honored with the prestigious ‘Lokmanya Tilak National Award’ by the Lokmanya Tilak Memorial Trust in Pune on August 1. This special event holds immense significance as it commemorates the memory of one of India’s greatest freedom fighters and visionaries, Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak.

 

Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Pune will commence with a visit to the revered Shrimant Dagdusheth Ganapati temple, where he will be warmly welcomed by the temple administration. The police authorities are meticulously reviewing the security arrangements to ensure a safe and smooth visit for the esteemed Prime Minister.

 

Hemant Rasane, representing the Dagdusheth Ganapati Trust in Pune, has confirmed that all necessary preparations have been completed to conduct the grand Maha aarti (ritualistic prayer) and Abhishek of Lord Ganapati, the presiding deity of the temple, at the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

The ‘Lokmanya Tilak National Award’ is a prestigious recognition bestowed upon individuals who have made exceptional contributions to society, echoing the ideals and vision of Lokmanya Tilak.
