Pimpri : Police officer, 2 constables suspended for not registering girl’s complaint

Pimpri :   Np News Network – Taking strong stand against policemen who show leniency in duty, Pimpri Chinchwad police commissioner RK Padmanabhan has suspended a police officer and two constables for not registering a minor girl’s molestation case.  The action was taken on Saturday.

Those suspended include assistant police inspector Nilesh Jagdale, and policemen Dattatray Malwadkar, and Rajendra Kirve, who were posted with Chikhali police station. They have been attached to the control room now.

According to officials, a 14-year-old girl was allegedly molested. Her father made several rounds of the police chowky but the police officer and the two policemen did not take his complaint. The girl’s father then met the police commissioner who enquired and then suspended the erring police officer and the two constables.
