Pimpri: Man stabbed to death, burned down in Moshi

Pimpri: Man was allegedly stabbed to death and then burnt his body to destroy all the pieces of evidence, the police said. The incident took place near Pandit Dindayah Upadhyay Road in Sector No. 11 of Moshi Authority.

Sub-inspector of police Amardeep Pujari has lodged a complaint with Bhosari MIDC police.

According to the police, the deceased was about 30 to 40-year-old and his identity has yet not been confirmed. The accused tried to destroy the evidence by throwing petrol or other flammable substances on his body and setting him on fire. Assistant Inspector of Police SS Panchal is investigating further.
