Pimpri: Former employees of Dehu Ordnance Factory create ruckus outside the company

Pimpri: Six former employees of Dehu Ordnance Factory created mishap and damaged the vehicles of an officer from the company outside the factory gate, the police said. Reportedly, the six men were angered after they were laid off from work. A case has been registered against six persons at Dehuroad police station.

The accused have been identified as Bajirao Talke, Nitin Supare, Vikrant Bhosale, Ganesh Humbe, Tanaji Narasal and Ashok Kadam. Balasaheb Sakharam Bhandwalkar (47, resident of Wadgaon Budruk, near Navale Bridge, Pune) has lodged the complaint.

The accused parked their vehicle horizontally in front of plaintiff’s car outside the Ordnance Factory Gates on the road from Nigdi to Dehu. According to the police, the accused surrounded the car and threw stones at it. They also smashed the door and mirror of the car. Later, the accused threatened to kill Balasaheb in the car itself.
