Pashan school denies admission to secondary students

Npnews24 online, Pune: While most of the city schools reopened for the new session, few parents left stranded outside the institute premises as their children’s denied admission to secondary classes (V-VII)

The school made a headline in June last year and May this year for denying admission to Class V students after enrolling them for the session.

In repeat of the event, more than 20 parents were left in the lurch, not able to figure out if school would acknowledge the admission of their wards.

Parents also complained to the education officer about today’s incident and the ensuing confusion.

Sant Gora Kumbhar School, a fully funded school by state government, has been denying admission to class v students after result was announced on April 27. While parents had protested the move to salvage the academic year of the present students.
