NCP may have sensed something different and asked Sharad Pawar to campaign for bypolls, says Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis

AHMEDNAGAR : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Kasba Peth Chinchwad Bypoll Election | The political atmosphere in the state has heated up because of bypolls for Kasba Peth and Chinchwad assembly constituencies. CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis have conducted road shows against the background of the bypoll. Ajit Pawar had said that he had never seen a CM and a deputy CM conducting road shows and they must have done so because they may have sensed something different. Fadnavis has replied to Pawar’s criticism while speaking to journalists in Ahmed Nagar. (Pune Kasba Peth Chinchwad Bypoll Election)

“The CM and deputy CM have taken part in campaigning during bypolls held so far. The NCP had fielded all its leaders including Sharad Pawar in the campaigns. This means they may have sensed something different. Sharad Pawar never campaigned during earlier bypolls. However, he is campaigning during the run up to this bypoll. Each election has to be taken seriously. Why should one feel ashamed while asking for votes? We are seeking votes,” Fadnavis said.

Meanwhile, the campaigning for Kasba Peth and Chinchwad bypolls has reached the last stage. The bypoll is a contest between MVA and BJP and both parties have fielded their senior leaders for campaigning. NCP President Sharad Pawar, Ajit Pawar, Jayant Patil, Congress state unit chief Nana Patole, Balasaheb Thorat and Praniti Shinde have campaigned in Kasba Peth and Chinchwad for MVA candidates.

CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and senior leaders of BJP have been in Pune since a couple of days. Both the bypolls are prestigious for BJP and it has left no stone unturned to win both the seats.
