MVA will cease to exist in Kasba Peth bypoll, says BJP spokesperson Keshav Upadhye
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Kasba Peth Bypoll Election | BJP’s state spokesperson Keshav Upadhye speaking at a press conference said that the fact that Sharad Pawar held a meeting of minorities in the Kasba Peth constituency, which is a stronghold of Hindu community, proves that the Congress will be defeated and the MVA will cease to exist. “There is a split in the Congress and the Uddhav Thackeray group has disappeared. Sharad Pawar never helps the Congress and hence, BJP’s victory is certain,” he said. (Pune Kasba Peth Bypoll Election)
“During the reign of the BJP government, Pune city’s progress took place rapidly. However, during the MVA rule, no new project was announced for Pune and the ongoing projects came to a halt. The MVA could not solve the problems of ST employees and MPSC students. Sharad Pawar never spoke about these issues when he was in power. If he had paid attention, the suicides of Swapnil Lonkar and other students could have been prevented. He keeps quiet when he is in power and plays politics when out of power. The Shinde government is trying to make up for the non governance of the MVA government. The residents of Kasba Peth have always voted for development and the present government will ensure all-round development of Pune. The voters of Kasba Peth are aware of this and hence, the MVA will cease to exist in this bypoll,” he said.
MLA Madhuri Misal, media head of the region Navnath Ban, Western Maharashtra Minister Makarand Deshpande, Kunal Tilak, Sanjay Mayekar and Pushkar Tuljapurkar were also present.
Fadnavis to visit Pune on Thursday
MLA Madhuri Misal said that CM Shinde and Deputy CM Fadnavis are going to visit Pune to campaign for Hemant Rasane. Fadnavis will take part in a foot march from Bhide Bridge area on Thursday (February 23) at 4.30 pm. Shinde is going to take part in a road show to be held to mark the end of the poll campaign.
