Maharashtra: Giant killer Kolhe defeats three times MP Adhalrao Patil

NPnews24 Online Pune : Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate actor Amol Kolhe is all set to defeat three times Shiv Sena MP Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil from Shirur constituency.

Kolhe took lead by over 63,000 votes. The counting of votes is going on at Balewadi stadium. Kolhe has arrived at the venue sensing he is on the verge being declared a giant killer.

Marathi television actor Dr Amol Kolhe was Shiv Sena’s star campaigner during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. However before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he joined the NCP.

Shivajirao Adhalarao Patil(born 8 May 1956) is a member of the 16th Lok Sabha. He represents the Shirur (Lok Sabha constituency) in Pune District of Maharashtra and is a member of the Shiv Sena (SS) political party. Shivajirao Adhalarao Patil won the Shirur Lok Sabha seat by margin of 301,814 votes in 2014. He was also a member of the 14th Lok Sabha and 15th Lok Sabha of India.
