Instagram now in Hindi for Indian users soon?

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- Will the users get to use a complete new version of Instagram now? The users might, as now Instagram has planned to expand its user base and with the English language, it has now also decided to add Hindi support to the app.

There are about 71 millions of users on Instagram all of who are now to experience a whole new Hindi version of Instagram. The social media apps like Facebook and Whatsapp already support multiple languages and now Instagram will soon be added to the list.

According to survey of 2018, India is one of the biggest markets of Facebook and has about 294 million users of Facebook across India which is why the app has been encouraging more updates which are India-centric in all the platforms.

Jane Manchun Wong, a Hong Kong based engineering student and an app researcher posted on twitter mentioning about it which read, “Instagram is supporting Hindi as part of their growth efforts” and in Hindi, “Instagram Bharatiya Bazaar mein vistaar se kaam karne ke liye Hindi ka samarthan karne par kaam kar raha hai”.

Whatsapp was already owned by Facebook, but Instagram also lately was owned by Facebook. Since then it has been inventing various features to prove its authenticity and prevent the spread of fake news.

And now, Instagram which is a photo sharing app is soon to be supported by Hindi language for millions of Indian users. And it has already started taking baby steps towards the implementations by checking.

A recent google report said that the number of Indian users using the internet is increasing each day at a rate of 18% and shall reach 500 million users by 2021.
