I am alone writes labour before committing suicide

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – Suicide is the act of intentionally causing one’s own death. Depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and substance abuse — including alcoholism and the use of benzodiazepines — are risk factors. Some suicides are impulsive acts due to stress such as from financial difficulties, troubles with relationships, or bullying.

On the same background, a labour from Thane Waghbali area named Saroj Patnadin aged 22 years has committed suicide by hanging himself on a tamarind tree. This incident took place on Wednesday near Anand Nagar junction.

Police from Kasarwadwali police station has registered a case in this matter.

Saroj is a labour who used to work on construction sides to earn her bread and butter. Before committing suicide he wrote his name and a girls name on the wall near Anand Nagar junction. Under the names, he wrote ‘Mi Tanaha Hu’ which means I am alone. This message from him shows that he was suffering from depression out of one-sided love or failure in the relationship.

The police after the post martam send the dead body to the relatives of Saroj.

Among large population states, Tamil Nadu and Kerala had the highest suicide rates per 100,000 people in 2012. The male to female suicide ratio has been about 2:1.
