Hathras : Rahul Gandhi Arrested, March To Hathras Stopped Under Section 188

Lucknow : The Congress party’s protest over the Hathras gang rape case continues. On Thursday, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who left for Hathras from Delhi, were taken into custody by the UP Police. A scuffle took place between UP Police and Congress workers near Greater Noida, during which Rahul Gandhi also fell as scuffle broke out between police and Congress workers.

When the convoy of the two leaders reached close to Greater Noida at some distance from Delhi on Thursday afternoon, the police stopped them. After this, Rahul and Priyanka left for Hathras with thousands of workers on foot. Administration has sealed the borders of Hathras and Section 144 has been imposed.
