Hathras Case : Rahul Gandhi Leaves For Hathras, Congress’s Nationwide Agitation On October 5

New Delhi : The Hathras case is in the headlines for the fourth consecutive day. Security has been tightened from Noida’s DND to Ghaziabad and Hathras after former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi announced once again to go to Hathras to demand justice for the gang-rape victim. Many Congress MLAs and MPs will also accompany him to Hathras. The Congress party will organize a nationwide agitation against the incident of Hathras gang rape on October 5.

Demonstrations are being organized from Lucknow to Delhi and different cities of the country. Congress is constantly attacking the Yogi government of UP. Amid all these, Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi is going to Hathras once again. He has left the Congress office in Delhi along with other leaders. Delegation of about 35 MPs with Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi have left for Hathras. All these people will leave Delhi in a bus today to visit Hathras via Noida.

On the other hand, UP Pradesh Congress President Ajay Kumar Lallu has been arrested in the capital Lucknow. A heavy police force has also been deployed at Lallu’s residence in Bahulkhandi, Lucknow.

Policemen posted at the residence are not allowing Ajay Lallu to go anywhere. It is said that after midnight, a large number of police personnel have been deployed at Ajay Lallu’s residence. However, the police say that police personnel have been deployed in view of the security of Ajay Kumar Lallu.

House arrest of Ajay Lallu has been done at a time when former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has announced to go to Hathras. Rahul Gandhi has tweeted that no one can stop him from going to Hathras and to share the pain of the family members of the victim. Rahul Gandhi will be accompanied by his sister Priyanka Gandhi.

Significantly, there was a lot of ruckus in Greater Noida on Thursday when Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were trying to go to Hathras via the expressway. Noida police did not allow him to leave. Rahul Gandhi was manhandled. After hours of drama, the police detained Rahul and Priyanka and were later released.
