FIR registered against builder for not providing promised amenities in Tulip Homes residential project

PIMPRI : NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- In yet another case of cheating people while selling flats, land owner and builder has been booked by Pimpri-Chinchwad police for allegedly duping customers of crores of rupees by selling them flats without promised amenities including basic drinking water supply.

An FIR has been registered in November 21 by flat owners in Tulip Homes, Chakan, which has been developed by Yash Enterprises and Aksha Group, with Chakan police station. The case has filed against land owner Zakirullah Abbasali Chaudhari (42) of Aksha Promoters and Builders Pvt Ltd, builders Purushottamdas Arjanbhai Patel, Satish Patel, Vinod Patel, Dilipkumar Ratibhai Patel, Narendrabhai Narayanbhai Patel, Rameshbhai Patel, Nikunjkumar Purushottamdas Patel, Sureshbhai Patel and sales representative Satish Rindhe, marketing manager Rakesh Gaikwad, Tanwir Usman Shaikh.

One of complainants, Sadashiv Gokhale (42) of Thane who bought two flats by paying Rs 50 lakhs, said that the builder has not provided most of the promised amenities. Out of 278 flats, about 80 owners have moved in.

As per the case registered with Chakan police station, the residential project is located on Chakan-Shikrapur road. The incident took place between 2014 and November this year. The builder has not registered the flats in the buyers name even after payments have been made. Also waste management, water supply, gram panchayat registration, fire safety work, lift facilities etc has not been done even after repeated pleas with the builder, the complaint states.


Though the builders could not be contacted for the versions, their MahaRERA application states that the whole project will be completed by December 2019. “The water supply work is completed 40 percent, sewage work is done 80 percent, waste management and disposal of sewage is zero percent”, the states the information on MahaRERA website.
