FIR filed against Ram Kadam by Pune based Advocate

BJP MLA Ram Kadam’s controversial statement given by him on August 3 has triggered a state of violence in Pune and all over Maharashtra. Even though, Ram Kadam has apologized to the girls and all women for his offensive statement. Strict action needs to be taken such is being demanded by the public.

He told youngsters to tell him if they like a girl and he would kidnap her for them even if she rejects their proposal. Thereby committing the above-mentioned offense has insulted the whole women class on August 3, 2018.

With respect to the issue, Advocate Dipti S. Kale, President of a Pune based Organization for Fundamental Rights & Women Empowerment has filed an FIR under section 354, 363, 366, 509 of the Indian Penal Code against Ram Kadam, BJP MLA.

The complaint has been filed in Deccan Police Station, Pune by the advocate. She said while talking to media, “Threatening women/girls on such a huge public platform to kidnap them due to a mere attraction of a man/boy is a strict offense.

Adding to that she said, “A sorry or a mere apology cannot take back his words because what he said was totally unjustified.”

NCP has been protesting against an offensive statement made by the well-known BJP leader in an event held on the eve of Dahi Handi event in Ghatkopar assembly constituency on Monday night.

On Wednesday, party members of NCP including young girls protested against such offensive statement which allegedly hurt the sentiments of the youth.

The President of NCP said during the protest, “Ram Kadam needs to apologize to all the girls of Maharashtra for making such a statement in front of thousands of people.

The youth including women and men are demanding for the resignation of Ram Kadam from his post

A statement from such a high authority minister has created a violent atmosphere in Pune. Women including men are showing their anger by Stamping on the posters of Ram Kadam, thrashing the posters with slippers and applying black ink on Kadam’s poster as a result of their anger.

They want Ram Kadam to resign from his post.
